Erasmus+ News and Regulations for Incoming Students

The content of this page is addressed to students coming to the Institute of Geography and Regional Development within the Erasmus+ mobility scheme.

At the IGRD incoming foreign-language students of both Bachelor and Master degrees can choose for their Learning Agreements subjects from the following range:

Group A – courses conducted fully in English, requiring at least B2 level of language competence. Courses from group A are, as a rule, available every year, as they constitute the obligatory component of our English-language Tourism & Hospitality Master Programme.

Detailed descriptions of the contents of particular courses can be found here.

Group B – courses conducted fully in English, requiring at least B2 level of language competence. Courses from group B constitute the elective, optional component of our English-language Tourism & Hospitality Master Programme and some might not be available if are not elected by a sufficient number of students. There are always three courses from this group available – the information on which are available in a given year is known at the beginning of December.

Group C – courses conducted fully in English, requiring at least B2 level of language competence. Courses from group C are elective, optional subjects offered within our Polish-language Geography Master Programme and might not be available if not elected by a sufficient number of students. The information on which are available in a given year is known at the beginning of December.

Group D – courses conducted in Polish, in an ‘Erasmus-friendly’ formula, with English-language materials and readers provided. Assessments can be conducted in English and consultations in English are possible. The courses consist solely of lectures and are offered within our Polish-language programmes. They are, as a rule, available very year.

Here you can find timetables of Tourism & Hospitality Programme from 2024/2025. The timetable for the winter semester 2025/2026 will be known in mid-September. We try not to implement significant changes but some modifications are possible.

Students coming on exchange to the IGRD can also take courses from other faculties of the University of Wrocław, but they should constitute less than 50% of ECTS obtained during the mobility.

Students interested in taking courses outside of IGRD should contact the International Office and Erasmus+ Coordinators at appropriate faculties for details of those courses.
